The name Dead Shark originated from the movie “Annie Hall” where the two main characters (played by Woody Allen and Diane Keaton) are talking about how relationships are like sharks in that they have to constantly move forward or they die; to which Allen’s character says “I think what we got on our hands is a dead shark” (referring to their relationship). Besides the fact that we like that movie, we take the same principle and apply it to our film and video work, so that the Dead Shark serves as a reminder to constantly keep “moving” forward, continue learning new skills, and not let our quality of work plateau, or motivations wane. We must remain in Shark Mode.
